Panthers,
I know we are all looking forward to cheering on our Panthers at this Friday’s football game! I am writing to inform you of a change regarding the start time for the game and share reminders about our game night procedures and expectations.
In our continuous efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees, the game will now start at 6 pm to ensure adequate support from our local police and first responders who are also covering other events throughout the county on the same evening. I recognize that this schedule change may affect your plans, and I appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
As we prepare for an outstanding evening of Panther football, I would like to draw your attention to expectations that all fans and spectators must follow:
*New* Backpacks and large tote bags will not be allowed in the game this Friday. Only small bags and purses will be permitted. Later this fall we will transition to a clear bags only policy. More information about those expectations will follow.
All attendees and their bags must pass through weapons scanners and bags will be searched.
Current Hermitage or Varina High School students in good standing may attend the game unaccompanied if they have purchased a ticket in advance and present their HCPS issued student ID badge at the gate. No exceptions will be made.
Any other attendee who is 18 years of age or under must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 years of age or older. These attendees are expected to remain together throughout the game. Any attendee under the age of 18 who is found to be apart from their accompanying adult at any point may be asked to leave and may be banned from attending future HCPS athletic events.
Students or other patrons who do not comply with these expectations may be prohibited from entering the stadium, may be asked to leave and/or may be prohibited from attending any future HCPS athletic events.
Your cooperation with these procedures is crucial in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all. I look forward to seeing you at the game and cheering on our team in an environment that honors our athletes and guests. Roll Pride!
