LifeReady Learning: Expanding How Students Earn Recognition

Hermitage (and all of HCPS) is upgrading the system for the LifeReady Learning Diploma Seal.

This means that it is now easier to get the 80 hours needed for the seal! The program has been expanded beyond just community service to recognize a wider range of real-world experiences, like student leadership, work experience, and civic engagement. This helps ensure students get credit for building skills that are valuable after high school.

Students' previously approved community service hours still count! This new system simply allows students to log additional kinds of valuable activities. To log hours, simply go to the attached form, which can also be found on the school website.

You can read more details in this 1-pager and/or this document outlining the new guidelines.
