They raised over $26,000 for the American Heart Association and put on several events to raise heart health literacy in our community! Zoe was named the Central Virginia Teen of Impact Winner, beating out 5 other campaigning nominees and is the only winner in the state of Virginia. Thank you to all who supported her campaign!

The Hermitage High School PTSO is pleased to offer two PTSO scholarships
to the Class of 2025. All Scholarship winners will be announced in May 2024.
Two Hermitage High School PTSO scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who show good academic achievement as well as active involvement at Hermitage High School and their community. Awards consist of a $1,000 for first place and $500 to second place non-renewable scholarships.
Criteria for PTSO scholarships are:
The student must be a current member of the Hermitage High School PTSO.
The student must be a graduating senior with a 3.0 or above GPA.
The student must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
The student must complete an application including a letter of recommendation and an essay outlining why the scholarship would be important to them, and how it would further their educational or career goals.
Recipients of the PTSO Scholarships are selected by the Scholarship Committee, which consists of PTSO adult volunteers and faculty volunteers, who review the applications and essays. The committee considers school activities, community service, honors and awards, outside employment, grade point average, recommendation, and the essay in making decisions. All applications are kept anonymous until after selections are made.

We are excited to share that our performing arts students will be performing "Disney's The Little Mermaid"! Our boosters will be selling concessions at all performances ( April 17th, 18th, 19th). We will also be hosting a Tea Party prior to the April 19th performance at 6:00 pm! Children will have a special opportunity to enjoy treats, beverages, crafts, and a meet-and-greet with the cast! Tickets are $20 for the show and Tea Party and must be preordered with the attached flyer and each additional child attending the Tea Party is only $15! We would love to have the children come in their best prince and princess dress if they wish to do so! Tickets for adults and the show only can be purchased at the door. Please share the attached flyer for the tea party and make plans to join us!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Hermitage Speech and Debate Teams for their strong performances at the Petersburg Crimson Wave Invitational on Saturday. Both teams had top-ten finishers with Tanmayi Achikanath Chaganti and Satyabama Dasari earning 2nd place in Public Forum Debate and Frankie Phillips earning 2nd in Storytelling.


Ms. Wilson's Ceramics II class made their "Realistic Food" sculptures so real they'll make your mouth water!!

It's time to share in that holiday cheer! The class of 2026 invites you to attend a holiday movie night on Friday, 12/13 at 6 pm in the library. Tickets are $5 on GoFan ONLY and include a holiday-themed snack bag full of yummy holiday goodies, water, and a holiday surprise. Only 100 tickets will be sold. We have over 50 vendors coming to Hermitage for our annual craft fair! Now all we need is YOU and everyone you know to come shop to make sure we get these vendors to come back once again. It will take place over the break next week on Saturday, November 30th 9:00 am – 3:00 pm! We will have door prizes that have been donated by all of the vendors! See you there!

Please donate your new and gently used winter clothing, outerwear, and shoes to keep Herm families warm this winter. All donations should be dropped off at the Hermitage HS front office at 8301 Hungary Spring Road by October 25th.
